Toledo Walleye Leading ECHL in Attendance

(Toledo, OH) - With just four home games left on the schedule, the Toledo Walleye are currently leading the ECHL in attendance for the 2011-12 season. The team is hoping to finish the year on top in attendance for the first time in Toledo hockey history.

The Walleye have attracted a league-best 198,064 fans during the 2011-12 season through 32 home dates. The average attendance of 6,190 per home date also leads the 20 team league.

Assistant General Manager/Ticket Sales & Operations, Erik Ibsen said, "We are pleased to see the continued support of the team and to reach the 200,000 mark for three straight seasons is a testament to this terrific region. We encourage our community to attend to one of the final four home games so they can be a part of a historic attendance season."

Remaining Toledo Walleye Home Games Friday, March 23 versus Elmira (7 p.m.) Saturday, March 24 versus Elmira (7 p.m.) Wednesday, March 28 versus Kalamazoo (7 p.m.) Saturday, March 31 versus Kalamazoo (7 p.m.)

The Toledo Walleye will return home on Friday, March 23 to play the Elmira Jackals at 7 p.m. Get FREE autographs of future NFL players Kevin Koger (Whitmer/University of Michigan) and Eric Page (Springfield/University of Toledo).
