TOLEDO, OHIO - Akil Baddoo, on a major league rehab assignment with the Toledo Mud Hens, singled with the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth inning to beat the Indianapolis Indians in walk-off fashion on Sunday afternoon, 9-8. With the loss, the Indians fell to the Mud Hens in the six-game series, 4-2.

Tyler Bashlor (L, 0-2) surrendered two runs on two hits and a pair of walks in the ninth inning. With one out and the bases loaded, Bashlor bobbled a short bunt to allow the game-tying run to score before the walk-off single won the game.

Riley Greene gave Toledo (53-42) an early 5-0 lead through the second inning, driving in four of the runs himself. He began the game with a two-run home run in the first and sparked a three-run second frame with a single that also drove in two.

Held hitless through the first four innings, the Indians offense heated up to trim Toledo's lead in the fifth inning. With two runners on base and two outs, Jared Oliva singled to plate the first of three runs in the inning. An error by Ryan Kreidler and a bases-loaded walk plated two more for the Indians.

Indianapolis (45-50) then took an 8-5 lead in the top of the sixth with a five-run frame. A sacrifice fly off the bat of Erik Gonzalez and a run-scoring fielder's choice by Tucupita Marcano tied the game at 5-5. With two outs and two runners on, Michael Chavis hit his 11th home run of the season to put Indy on top.

Toledo cut Indy's lead to 8-7 in the bottom of the sixth inning to set up the walk-off win. Drew Carlton (W, 3-3) recorded the final out of the Indians offense as the seventh Toledo pitcher used to earn the win.

The Indians return to Victory Field on Tuesday to begin a 12-game homestand vs. Louisville and Iowa. Indy and Louisville will face off on Tuesday at 7:05 PM ET. RHP Michael Mariot (3-4, 3.60) will take the mound for the Bats while the Indians have yet to name a starter.
