Tobler Loaned to Wolves

The Tampa Bay Lightning have loaned left wing RYAN TOBLER to the Chicago Wolves.

The Calgary, Alberta, native has registered two assists and 44 penalty minutes in 11 games with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League this season.

Last year, TOBLER, who led Springfield during the regular season with five power-play goals, also posted 17 goals; 24 assists; 41 points; and 215 penalty minutes in 73 games. The 26-year-old forward made his National Hockey League debut last season, recording five penalty minutes in four games with Tampa Bay.

TOBLER, who signed as a free agent with the Lightning on Aug. 21, 2001, tallied a career-high 293 penalty minutes, along with 19 goals and 47 points, in 78 games with the Milwaukee Admirals in 1999-2000.

Overall, TOBLER has recorded 76 goals; 118 assists; 194 points; and 1,187 penalty minutes spanning six professional seasons.
