Ducks rally to sink Admirals

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Brendan Yarema tallied a pair of goals as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks rallied to defeat the Milwaukee Admirals, 5-3, Wednesday at the Cincinnati Gardens.

Yarema scored 7:35 into the third period to tie the game at 3-3 and netted a power-play marker with 5:18 remaining to supply Cinicnnati with a 4-3 lead.

Francis Belanger, Ben Guite and Cory Pecker also scored for the Ducks, who improved to 5-2-0-1 in their last eight games at home. Bobby Brown chipped in with two assists.

Jean-Francois Damphousse made 32 saves, including 14 in the first period, to extend his unbeaten streak to four games (2-0-2).

Reid Simpson, Pascal Trepanier and Konstantin Panov scored for Milwaukee, which is winless in its last six games (0-3-2-1).

Chris Madden finished with 32 saves for the Admirals, who remain winless in five tries in Cincinnati (0-2-3-0).

The Ducks next game is Friday when they host Cleveland at 7:35 p.m. at the Cincinnati Gardens.
