Rats Add Crozier

Albany N.Y. – The Albany River Rats today announced the addition of Left Wing Greg Crozier to the club's lineup. He had one assist, a minus one rating and six penalty minutes in seven games with the Houston Aeros, who serve as the Wild's American Hockey League affiliate. Crozier is expected to be available when the Albany River Rats host the Hamilton Bulldogs in a 7:00p.m. face-off on Friday night at Pepsi Arena.

The 26-year-old split the 2001-02 campaign between Houston and Providence, totaling six goals and 11 assists in 64 regular season contests. Crozier, who was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins with their fourth choice, 73RD overall in the 1994 National Hockey League Entry Draft, began his professional career with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins during the 1999-00 season, producing 44 (22-22) points in 71 games played. The Calgary, Alberta native posted a career high 60 (24-36) points for Wilkes-Barre during the 2000-01 season as the Penguins advanced to the Calder Cup Finals.
