Goulet signed and assigned to Quad City

The Manitoba Moose announced today that they have signed centre Jason Goulet to a standard players contract and assigned him to the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League.

This season with the Moose, Goulet had played in nine AHL games and registered one assist with nine shots.

During the 2001-02 season, the 27 year-old forward finished his best season in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals. The centre was third in team scoring, notching 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points in 64 AHL games. Goulet was honoured as the Admirals recipient of the AHL Man of the Year award (given to a player from each AHL team for his outstanding commitment to local community and charitable organizations).

Goulet was originally signed to a pro tryout contract on September 4, 2002.
