Titans GameDay at Reading - December 28 (Game 30-Away 15)

December 28, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

Last Meeting

December 27 - In one of the more entertaining games of the young season, Rookie and Player of the Month candidate Marcel Noebels made his only shot of the game count, ripping a GWPPG just 26 seconds into OT for a 2-1 Titans victory.

Next Meeting

This intense rivalry will see Game Three of the home-home-and-home series back in Trenton, at the Sun National Bank Center, tomorrow for a 7:05 faceoff.

Streaks

Reading: 8-0-1; Trenton: 6-0-1 (first 7-gm stretch with points since 3/22-4/4/09, when the Titans went 6-0-0-1)

Record (Road/Home)

Reading: 21-7-1-1 (12-3 Home); Trenton: 14-11-2-2 (5-6-1-2 Road). Reading is 5-2-1 vs. TRE (2-1 Home). Trenton is 3-4-0-1 vs. REA (1-1-0-1 Road, including a 4-3 SOL last time in Reading on November 11)

White Hot-Lantic

Sure the fun will end sometime - but what a run for the Atlantic Division! With Elmira's win last night and despite the losses by Reading (OT) and Wheeling (SO), the entire division still remains on a winning/point streak, now sitting at 21-0-2-1 (and theoretically could still increase if REA and TRE go to OT again). Two other divisions have all their teams on point streaks, but are way behind the ATL: The South is 6-5-2-1 combined and the Mountain is on a 10-2-0-3 run.

DID YOU KNOW?

After last night's OTL, REA is 13-0-1-1 when leading through two periods.

The Titans have killed off 30 consecutive Reading PP chances after going 5-for-5 last night.
