Trenton Devils News Release

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Trenton Titans allowed the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies to come from behind for a 3-2 shootout loss in front of 2,655 at Boardwalk Hall.

The Titans got the early lead for the fifth game in a row when Connor Dunlop put his sixth goal of the season past Trevor Koenig at 3:48 of the opening stanza.

With Michael Schutte in the penalty box for high sticking, Jason Notermann's power goal tied the score for the Bullies 1-1 at 14:37 of the first.

Matt Zultek put Trenton back up by one goal with an unassisted goal just 2:27 later -- his eleventh tally this year.

Atlantic City would tie the score once again when, with teammate Notermann in the box, Fraser Clair notched a shorthanded goal thirty-one seconds into the third period making it 2-2.

After a scoreless overtime, Clair and Paul Caponigri got the puck past Andrew Allen in the shootout, while Koenig stopped all four Titans shooters clinching the 3-2 win.

Allen's record goes to 13-7-3 as he turned away 28 of 30 shots. The Titans were 0-for-3 on the power play and 5-for-6 on the penalty kill.
