
Chiefs Make Several Roster Changes

Johnstown, PA- Johnstown Chiefs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Toby O'Brien announced today that forwards Jonathan Tremblay and Scott Dobben have been assigned to the team from the AHL's Cleveland Barons and that the Chiefs have signed forward Joe Gerbe (Gir-bee). In an unrelated move, forward Glenn Olson has been recalled by Cleveland.
Tremblay, 20, began the season with the Chiefs scoring two goals, four points and 84 PIM in 25 games. He was recalled by Cleveland two weeks ago; however he only played in one game for the Barons.
Dobben, 21, comes to the Chiefs after playing in 33 games for the Barons this season scoring 4 goals and 6 points. The 6'1, 205 LBS native of Drayton, Ontario also played in two scoreless games with the Fresno Falcons (ECHL) earlier this season. Dobben was a fourth round draft pick of the Ottawa Senators (113th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
Gerbe, 25, began the 2004-05 season in the Central Hockey League with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. In 16 games this season, the 5'7, 180 LBS native of Oxford, Michigan has a goal and 8 points. Gerbe spent the entire 2003-2004 season with the now defunct Greensboro Generals (ECHL) where he scored 4 goals and 13 points in 54 games.
Olson, 20, saw action in four games with the Chiefs posting 9 PIM.
Tremblay, Dobben and Gerbe will all be available for the Chiefs game Saturday night at Toledo (7:30 p.m.).
The Chiefs return to home ice on Saturday, February 19th when they host the Dayton Bombers at 7:00 p.m. The game is also the next designated sell-out night sponsored by "Your Neighborhood Ford Store." Wrestling legend George "The Animal" Steele will be in attendance signing autographs. Photos will also be available, sponsored by AARONS Sales and Lease.
