This event is one of the biggest Condors charity fundraisers, as the team trades skates for aprons and tries its hand at serving dinner and collecting "tips" for charity. In the past six seasons, Tip-A-Condor has raised $54,497 for local non-profit agencies, including $16,715 last season.
"The Tip-A-Condor dinner is one of the most memorable events of the year," said Condors player Kevin St. Jacques, "the other players and myself look forward to trying our hand at serving for tips and having a blast while doing it."
During the Tip-A-Condor dinner there will be live and silent auctions to benefit the Kern County Shrine Club, part of the international fraternity that supports a network of pediatric specialty hospitals. In addition, your favorite Condors players and staff will be available to earn money by fulfilling your on- stage singing and dancing requests.
