
Seitsonen and Donally called up to Omaha

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that center Aki Seitsonen and left wing Ryan Donally have been recalled to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.
Aki Seitsonen heads back to Omaha for his third stint with the Knights this season. Seitsonen has one goals and one assist for two points in six games with Omaha this year. In 27 games with the Wranglers, Seitsonen has scored nine goals and added ten assists for 19 points. Seitsonen was the Calgary Flames fourth round draft pick (#118 overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year old played three years of junior hockey with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League. In 204 games with the Raiders, Seitsonen amassed 60 goals and 67 assists for 127 points. In 22 playoff games with Prince Albert, the six-foot four-inch forward had five goals and nine assists for 14 points. The Riihimaki, FIN native played seven games at the end of the 2005-06 season with Omaha, where he was held scoreless with only two penalty minutes.
Ryan Donally leaves Las Vegas after playing in four games without a point and 11 penalty minutes. He returns to Omaha where he played in 13 games with the Knights earlier this season. Donally scored two goals and added two assists for four points, to go along with 26 penalty minutes in Omaha. The 21-year old was the third round (#97 overall) selection of the Calgary Flames in the 2003 NHL entry draft. The six-foot-four winger spent the last five seasons in the OHL, most recently with the Sudbury Wolves. In 259 junior games, Donally scored 33 goals and added 46 assists for 79 points and 515 penalty minutes
The Wranglers will host the Long Beach Ice Dogs at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena at 7:05 pm on Friday, January 12th. The first 2,500 fans will receive a Marc Magliarditi figurine.
