Thunder Acquires Future Considerations from the Las Vegas Wranglers in Exchange for G Jody O'Neill

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, has acquired future considerations from the Las Vegas Wranglers in exchange for rookie goaltender Jody O'Neill.

O'Neill, 24, appeared in one game with the Thunder this season and made ten saves on Jan. 20 against San Francisco.

The 6-foot-1 and 180 pound goaltender was signed by the Thunder as a free agent on Jan. 19, 2013. He appeared in one game last season with the Thunder and previously competed in 69 career games with Dartmouth College (NCAA), compiling a 26-35-6 record, goals against average of 2.99 and .910 save percentage.

A two time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," the Thunder led the ECHL in attendance for four consecutive seasons and drew over 200,000 fans for the seventh consecutive season in 2011-12.
