Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release
GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that rookie forward Andrew Rowe has been reassigned to the team by the Philadelphia Flyers from the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League. Rowe returns for his third go-around with the Road Warriors after registering five points (3G, 2A) over seven games spanning February 25 to February 27 to March 22. He scored his first ECHL goal on February 26 in a 3-0 win at Toledo then assisted on Mark Voakes' game-winning goal the next night in a 4-2 victory at Wheeling. Over four games from March 17 to 22 Rowe racked up a pair of goals and an assist and helped Greenville pick up three wins. In 55 games with the Phantoms this season Rowe has produced 12 points (7G, 5A) in his first season out of Michigan State. The 6-2, 185-pound winger out of Muskegon, Michigan signed with the Flyers following his junior season with the Spartans and prior to turning pro had 49 points (26G, 23A) in 94 games. He is expected to be in the lineup for tomorrow's game against the Gwinnett Gladiators.
