
Alaska Aces Playoff Games A&B on Sale Friday

Anchorage, AK; March 31, 2011 - The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce that they will host Games A & B of the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th at 7:15pm at Sullivan Arena. The games will be the first for the Aces in the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs, after receiving an opening-round bye as the regular season Western Conference Champions. Individual tickets to the games will go on sale at 9am AKST on Friday morning, and are available at the Aces office, located at the corner of 15th Ave. and Gambell. Alaska's opponent in the Conference Semifinals has yet to be determined. Alaska will host the winner of the #4 vs. #5 Western Conference matchup in the opening round of the post-season. Individual playoff tickets will be available at the Aces office, Sullivan Arena, Fred Meyer stores, or online at www.ticketmaster.com 4IwRSw8KWh0fFmw0qmE3GYw4VsoUWoHcUCYLdQ==]. Individual tickets begin at just $15, and discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Fans can also still purchase playoff season tickets for a discount, to ensure they have a seat for each home game of the Aces Kelly Cup Playoff Season. Fans who have already pre-ordered their tickets can pick up tickets for April 15th and 16th at the Aces office, beginning Monday morning, April 4th.
The Aces are back in the post-season for the eighth consecutive time since joining the ECHL, and have secured their fourth conference championship. They are closing in on a Brabham Cup title as the ECHL regular season champion, which would assure the team of being the higher seed throughout the playoffs. With the opening-round bye, Alaska has made the second round of the playoffs for the seventh time in eight years.
The Aces will close the regular season with two more games in Victoria this weekend, before returning home in mid-April for Games 1 & 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals and the debut of the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
