
Three More FC Dallas Players Called to National Team Duty

FC Dallas News Release
Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas defender Maynor Figueroa (Honduras) and midfielder Carlos Gruezo (Ecuador) have been called in to represent their respective countries during the FIFA International break running Oct. 8-16. Defender Reggie Cannon was also called in to the U.S. Men's National Team on Monday.
Players will leave following FC Dallas' match on Saturday, Oct. 6 against Orlando City SC.
Figueroa, Honduras' all-time cap leader, earns his first call-up since Los Catrachos were eliminated from the 2018 World Cup Qualifying Intercontinental Playoff vs. Australia in Nov. 2017. Figueroa has appeared in 16 games this season and scored one goal. Honduras will travel to face United Arab Emirates in a friendly on Oct. 11.
Gruezo earned his first Ecuador call-up since World Cup Qualification in Sep. 2017. The Ecuadorian international has scored one goal and added one assist in 28 matches this season. Gruezo and Ecuador will travel to the Middle East for friendlies against Qatar on Oct. 12 and Oman on Oct. 16.
Cristian Colmán earned his first Paraguayan National Team call-up for the October window, but will miss his first camp after suffering a torn ACL this week in training.
