THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS...
The CLEVELAND BARONS (San Jose) are 3rd in the North Division with 61 points and have a 26-18-4-5 record... The Barons are 6- 4-0-0 in their last 10 games and are coming off a 2-1 win over the Utah Grizzlies Monday night... Cleveland owns the season series against the Baby Leafs with a record of 5-1-0- 0 including two wins in St. John's... The Barons have the number two-rated powerplay in the AHL with a 17.6% success rate and are 25th in the league while killing penalties at 80.9%... Right-winger Miroslav Zalesak is the league's top point getter with 62 points (29G,33A) in 53 games... The Barons also boast the league's top scoring defenceman, Garrett Stafford, who has 32 points (8G,24A) in 47 games... Center Brad Boyes has 12 points (5G,7A) in his last 10 games and is 2nd on the team with 52 points including 21 goals in 53 games... St. John's forward Kyle Wellwood leads the Maple Leafs attack with six points (4G,2A) in six games against the Barons this season... This will be the final two meetings of the season between these divisional rivals.

NEXT WEEK'S OPPONENTS...
The Portland Pirates visit St. John's for the only time this season next Friday and Saturday, February 27th and 28th. The Pirates are 3rd in the Atlantic Division with 58 points and have a 22-17-8- 6 record. Both teams split a pair of games back on October 24th and 26th.
