Canucks recall Fedorov

The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have recalled forward Fedor Fedorov from the Manitoba Moose.

Fedorov leads the Moose in goals so far this season with 19. He also ranks second on the team in points with 32 in 43 games played. In that time, he has recorded 46 PIM. His nine power play goals lead the Moose and are tied for sixth in the AHL. In his last ten games, Fedorov has seven goals and 10 points to lead the Moose in that segment. He also has a +5 rating during that span. The 22-year old was recalled by the Canucks back on Nov. 15/03, but failed to see any action. He was also recalled on Dec. 15/03 and played in two games, recording two PIM.

Fedorov has played 101 games over his career with the Moose, scoring 31 goals and 27 assists for 58 points. He also has 113 penalty minutes. The native of Moscow, Russia has played in nine NHL games in his career with the Vancouver Canucks, recording one assist and six penalty minutes.

Fedorov was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks 66th overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
