Thall Named To All-Star Team

TRENTON, N.J. - Baysox reliever Chad Thall is heading to Trenton N.J. to participate in the 2009 Eastern League All-Star game Tuesday, July 15, at 7:05 p.m. Thall will take the place of former Baysox reliever Josh Perrault on the Southern Division Roster, along with reliever Ryan Ouellette, second baseman Miguel Abreu and left fielder Jonathan Tucker. Perrault is unable to make the game after being promoted to class-AAA Norfolk on Tuesday, July 7.

Thall has been an integral component to the Baysox bullpen this season. The lefty leads the Eastern League with 12 holds and owns a 2-2 record on the season. He has compiled a 3.44 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 36.2 innings.
