Texas Assigns Jack Campbell to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today they have assigned goaltender Jack Campbell to their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads, and recalled goaltender Henrik Kiviaho.

Campbell, 23, has appeared in 19 games this season for Texas with a 3.36 goal against average and an .890 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound native of Port Huron, Mich. began his fourth season with Texas this year. Campbell holds a 38-32-9 career record in a Texas uniform, with a 2.62 goals against average and .909 save percentage.

The 21-year-old Kiviaho (HEHN-rihk kih-vee-AH-hoh) is on his second call-up to the AHL this year. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound goaltender has appeared in 15 games this season for Idaho with a 2.95 goals against average and an .895 save percentage. Kiviaho was a fifth-round pick of the Dallas Stars (144th overall) in 2012.
