IceCaps Team with Telegram to Help Iris Kirby House

St. John's IceCaps News Release
The St. John's IceCaps are joining forces with The Telegram tonight (Tuesday, February 10) in support of the Warm Hearts campaign.
Warm Hearts helps provide funding and clothing for Iris Kirby House, a St. John's shelter for women (with or without children) who are experiencing relationship abuse. The 22 bed facility was originally established in 1981 as Newfoundland's first transition house. Inspired by a series of stories in the St. John's Telegram in 2011, in the past three years Warm Hearts has raised more than $20,000 for Iris Kirby House, as well as more than 7,000 items of new clothing for its residents.
During the IceCaps game tonight versus the Hartford Wolf Pack at Mile One Centre, The Telegram will have donation bins set-up in the main lobby. Fans will be encouraged to donate new clothing articles (pajamas, underwear, socks, mittens, shirts, hats, robes, etc.), personal hygiene products and toiletries.
