Bass Suspended for Two Games

Springfield, Mass. - The American Hockey League today announced that Rockford IceHogs center Cody Bass has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of his actions in a game at Milwaukee on Friday, Feb. 6.

Bass was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Bass will miss Rockford's games Friday (Feb. 13) at Milwaukee and Saturday (Feb. 14) vs. Oklahoma City. The Owen Sound, Ont. native is able to return to action when the IceHogs host the San Antonio Rampage on Sunday, Feb. 15 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Feb. 14, vs. Oklahoma City Barons: Game begins at 7 p.m. Rockford hosts the Barons for the first time this season in a Valentine's Day matchup at the BMO. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will also receive a limited edition IceHogs poster.
