Portland scored three goals in the first period, added another three in the second period and potted two more in the third en route to the win over the IceCaps at Mile One Centre. Kyle MacKinnon replied in the second period for the IceCaps. The Pirates got goals from eight different players, including Henrik Samuelsson, Greg Carey, Francis Wathier, Joel Hanley, Jordan Szwarz, Jordan Martinook, Darian Dziurzynski and Jordon Southorn, while starting netminder Mike McKenna turned away all but one of the 24 shots he faced to earn the win.

Will O'Neill scored the game's only goal in the second period and Connor Hellebuyck stopped all 35 shots he faced as the IceCaps blanked the Pirates at Mile One Centre.

Tickets available: Tickets still remain for upcoming IceCaps home games. Purchases can be made in person at the Mile One Centre box office, by phone at 576-7657 or online at www.mileonecentre.com.
FanFest: The IceCaps will host their annual FanFest Sunday, March 8th, from 1-3:30 p.m. at Mile One Centre. Fans will have a chance to meet all the IceCaps players, who will be on-hand to sign autographs, pose for pictures and chat. Admission is free for season-ticket holders (and up to three guests), $5 for a single ticket and $10 for a family pass (up to four people). All tickets are available at the door. Season ticket holders are asked to bring their season ticket holder ID card or other proof of identification to enter. Fans are encouraged to bring used sports equipment to donate to youth sports organizations throughout the province.
