Tonight's Matchup: Tonight's matchup is the fifth of eight meetings between the Medicine Hat Tigers and Edmonton Oil Kings this season. The Tigers are looking to take the season series lead 3-2 vs the Oil Kings in Saturday's Teddy Bear Toss Game. Medicine Hat dropped the previous meeting 3-2 just 2 weeks ago.

Last Game: The Tigers are coming off a tough loss in Lethbridge last night vs the Hurricanes. Medicine Hat started off strong but would lose the lead in the second period as Lethbridge would score 3 unanswered goals including the Teddy Bear Toss goal that would take the energy out of the Tigers. The Tigers would push late but it wouldn't be enough to overcome the new look Hurricanes.

Hunt...ing for Goals: Hunter St. Martin is having a career year for the Medicine Hat Tigers. With some standout performances this season, he's tallied 20 goals over 26 games, including an impressive 9 goals in a 5-game stretch. St. Martin has recorded two hat tricks so far, one of which included an incredible 5-goal game. The Florida Panthers prospect also potted his 50th career goal vs Prince Albert on November 20th.
McKenna Magic: Tigers phenom Gavin McKenna was selected to Team Canada's World Jr. camp roster on the morning of December 2. The 16-year-old is the only player selected to the camp who isn't draft-eligible until the 2026 NHL draft. McKenna currently leads the league in points with 58 through 29 games and is riding a 13-game point streak posting 29 points during his run.
