
Taylor Heads to Bridgeport and K-Wings Complete Trade

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce forward Justin Taylor has been reassigned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.
Taylor heading to Bridgeport marks the 15th time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been sent up to the AHL.
On the season, Taylor has earned 42 points (23 goals, 19 assists) in 41 games this season and has a plus/minus rating of plus-2 with Kalamazoo.
Taylor, who started the season with the Sound Tigers, will get reunited with K-Wings Jon Landry, Wes O'Neill and Brandon Svendsen, who are currently on the Bridgeport roster.
In Taylor's absence, the K-Wings have completed a trade with the Cincinnati Cyclones for defenseman/forward John Kivisto for future considerations. Kivisto, who participated in the training camps of the K-Wings and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, played his first pro game last night against Kalamazoo as a member of the Cyclones.
Kalamazoo will battle the Toledo Walleye tonight, Sunday, February 27th with a 4 p.m. face-off at the Huntington Center.
The K-Wings will return home to Wings Stadium next Sunday, March 6th with a 4 p.m. face-off versus the reigning Kelly Cup Champions, Cincinnati Cyclones during another Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO and Stars Wars Night.
During all Sunday home games kids (12 and under) eat FREE. This Sunday, the first 500 kids will also receive a FREE inflatable megaphone courtesy of Kalsee Credit Union.
