
Tanner Vavra and Michael Quesada activated from DL

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announce that INF Tanner Vavra and catcher Michael Quesada have been activated from the 7-day disabled list and that OF Zack Larson has been placed on the 7-day DL. Brad Steil, Director of Minor League Operations for the Twins, announced the move.
Vavra went on the DL back on May 2nd with a right ankle sprain and Quesada went on the DL back on April 17th with a right wrist contusion.
Larson goes on the DL with a right hamstring strain. In 32 games for the Kernels, he is batting .292 with 11 doubles, a home run and 19 RBI.
Vavra and Quesada are active and available for today's 1:05 pm game at Wisconsin. With today's transaction, the Kernels roster is at the MWL maximum of 25 active players, with five players currently on the DL and one player on the Restricted List.
The Kernels wrap up a six game road trip today at 1:05 pm against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. They return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Monday, May 12th and open a four-game, three-day home stand against the Peoria Chiefs.
