MOOSIC, PA - Jameson Taillon struck out 11 batters over his six innings of work, but Chris Parmelee broke a 2-2 tie with a home run in the fourth to help give the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders the 3-2 victory over the Indianapolis Indians on Saturday evening.

Taillon (2-2) allowed three runs on five hits, but he only issued one walk while piling up his 11 strikeouts. It marked the fourth time an Indians (17-17) hurler had struck out more than 11 in a start this season.

Locked in a 2-2 tie, Chris Parmelee led off the fourth inning for the RailRiders (20-17) with a home run off of Taillon. It went over the right-field fence for his third round-tripper of the season, and it would be the game's final score.

The Tribe enjoyed a brief lead after they scored two runs in the top of the first. Jason Rogers and Josh Bell each knocked in a run with a groundout.

A sacrifice fly by Nick Swisher and a double by Eddy Rodriguez represented the first two runs of the game for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Eric Ruth (1-0) was a late addition to the mound for the RailRiders, but he earned the win. The right-hander went six innings, allowing two runs on six hits with seven strikeouts.

The Tribe will wrap-up the seven-game road trip on Sunday afternoon against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m. Indianapolis will then open a seven-game homestand at Victory Field, beginning on Monday at 7:05 p.m. against the first-place Columbus Clippers.
