T-Birds Announce 2015-16 Schedule

KENT, June 24, 2015- The Seattle Thunderbirds are pleased to announce the release of their 2015-16 regular season schedule.
The T-Birds start the 2015-16 Western Hockey League regular season on the road against the Vancouver Giants on Friday, September 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Pacific Coliseum.
The T-Birds home opener is Saturday, October 3, at 7:05 p.m. against the Prince George Cougars.
Tuesday, June 30 is the deadline to receive two FREE tickets to the Home Opener. T-Bird fans who purchase a 24-Flex Ticket Package before the deadline will receive two FREE tickets to the home opener against Prince George. The 2015-16 season includes 15 home games on a Saturday, nine home games on a Tuesday, eight home games on a Friday, two home games on a Sunday and two home games on a Wednesday.
The T-Birds will take on the Portland Winterhawks six times at the ShoWare Center this upcoming season; with five of the games being played on a Saturday and one game being played on a Friday.
Popular I-5 rival, the Everett Silvertips, will travel to the ShoWare Center to face the T-Birds five times in 2015-16. This will include four games on a Saturday and one game on a Friday.
The Kelowna Rockets, last season's WHL champion, will be at the ShoWare Center to face the T-Birds Sunday, January 31 and Tuesday, February 9.
The T-Birds will play two afternoon road games this season. The game against Kootenay on Saturday, October 31 is a 1pm start time. The T-Birds travel to Kelowna for a 2:05pm game on Monday, February 8.
The T-Birds will travel to the Central Division of the Eastern Conference from October 31 to November 7. They will play the Kootenay Ice, Calgary Hitmen, Red Deer Rebels, Edmonton Oil Kings, Lethbridge Hurricanes and Medicine Hat Tigers on the six-game road trip.
The T-Birds will make their way to Portland for the annual New Year's Eve game against the Winterhawks on Thursday, December 31, at 8pm.
T-Birds single game tickets for the 2015-16 regular season and home preseason games will go on sale Thursday, August 20, at 10 a.m. online on the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office.

All games in 2015-16 will be broadcast on 1090 The Fan and streamed live on the website of 1090 The Fan.
