
Raiders Announce 2015-16 Regular Season Schedule

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders on Wednesday announced their 2015-16 regular season schedule for the Western Hockey League's upcoming 50th anniversary season.
The Raiders will begin the season with a home-and-home set against their long-time rivals, the Saskatoon Blades. Saskatoon will host the first game of the season on September 25 before action shifts to Prince Albert for the Raiders' home opener on September 26.
Of the 36 Raiders home games, 22 will be played on Friday (13) and Saturday (9). All Raiders home games will be played at 7:00 PM, with the exception of two games. On Friday, October 31, the Raiders will take on the Swift Current Broncos in a Halloween Matinee contest played at 3:30 PM. On Monday, February 15, the Raiders will also host the Moose Jaw Warriors in a Family Day match-up with a 3:00 PM puck drop.
The longest homestand for Prince Albert is five games and will take place on two occasions. The Raiders will play five games in a row at home from October 28 to November 6 and from December 12-27. The longest road trip of the season will take place early in the season. From October 10-17, the Raiders will play six games over an eight-day span, including meetings with all five U.S. Division clubs.

Sunday: 2 home + 6 away = 8 games
Monday: 1 home + 0 away = 1 game
Tuesday: 5 home + 5 away = 10 games
Wednesday: 6 home + 5 away = 11 games
Thursday: 0 home + 0 away = 0 games
Friday: 13 home + 9 away = 22 games
Saturday: 9 home + 11 away = 20 games
The Raiders promotional schedule, which includes specialty jersey nights, will be announced at a later date.
