Mackay Ends WHL Career to Pursue Other Endeavours

SWIFT CURRENT SK - Swift Current Broncos forward Zac Mackay has chosen to end his WHL career to pursue other endeavors. Mackay's time with the Broncos spanned over 5 seasons.

As a 15 year old, Mackay made his Bronco debut in 2010 after being drafted by Swift Current in 4th round of the WHL bantam draft.

Mackay would play 229 games with the Broncos, scoring 19 goals, 18 assists and compiling 189 penalty minutes.

"Zac was a big part of our team's identity and was a fantastic ambassador in the community" said Broncos coach and general manager Mark Lamb of Zac Mackay.

"Zac will be a success at whatever he chooses to pursue and we wish him all the best" added Lamb.
