
Syracuse Crunch to Participate in Wednesday Walk October 26

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Daniel Walcott and Michael Bournival are participating in the final Wednesday Walk of the year presented by SUNY Oswego Metro Center and the Downtown Committee of Syracuse on Wednesday, Oct. 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Additionally, the Crunch will announce the winner of the Hat Trick Award.
Crunch players and walk participants will go on a guided tour through Syracuse that ends at the War Memorial Arena. Once participants reach the War Memorial Arena, they will have the opportunity to tour Crunch facilities with players and staff. The walk is free and marks the final Wednesday Walk for the 2016 season.
Festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. with refreshments and family-friendly activities at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center at 2 S. Clinton St. in downtown Syracuse. The walk steps off following the activities at 5:30 p.m.
The winner of the Hat Trick Award presented by the Syracuse Crunch will also be announced. Any person who participated in three walks throughout the season has been entered to win the award, which includes a 10-pack of Crunch tickets and a personalized Crunch jersey.
The Wednesday Walk is an opportunity to learn more about the downtown Syracuse area as participants step away from their desks and get some exercise during 45-minute themed biweekly walks. Syracuse is a vibrant city with an abundance of things to do and see. The Wednesday Walk helps feature everything downtown has to offer. The person who goes on the most walks will win a free pair of sneakers and fitting from Fleet Feet Sports. Additionally, the company with the most employees participating in the walk will win a catered lunch for all of their company's participants, sponsored by the Downtown Committee of Syracuse.
Syracuse Crunch single game and season tickets for the 2016-17 season are on sale now and can be purchased either in person at the Crunch office located in the War Memorial Arena at 800 S.
