THIS WEEK'S GAMES Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Texas Stars H.E.B. Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT) San Antonio will start their first road trip of the season when they take on the Texas Stars at the H.E.B. Center at Cedar Park. The two teams split their preseason series, each taking a win on the road.
Thursday, Oct. 27 at Cleveland Monsters Quicken Loans Arena, 6 p.m. (CT) On the team's first trip out of the state of Texas, the Rampage will travel to Cleveland, OH to take on the Monsters in their third set of back-to-back games for the month.
Friday, Oct. 28 at Cleveland Monsters Quicken Loans Arena, 6 p.m. (CT) San Antonio will finish their short road trip and third set of back-to- back contests for October on Friday night in Cleveland. Last season, the Rampage split their road contests against the Mon- sters, tallying one win and an over-time loss .
Sunday, Oct. 30 vs. Ontario Reign AT&T Center, 3 p.m. (CT) The San Antonio Rampage will return home after a short road trip to finish off the month in a Sunday afternoon contest against the Ontario Reign. This will be one of six matches between the teams. THIS WEEK'S PRACTICE SCHEDULE 2016-17 SCHEDULE/RESULTS Rampage Center, J.T. Compher, scored the first goal of his profes- sional career during Saturday night's contest against the Chicago Wolves. The quick shot came just 0:58 seconds into the match, the fastest goal that any Rampage player has scored this season. The goal, along with his first pro assist from last Sunday night's game against the Milwaukee Admirals, gave Compher his first scoring streak of his pro career. The 5-11, 195lb center spent the last three years playing for University of Michigan in the Big-10, tallying 118 points (39g/79a) in 107 total games. ICE CHIPS: J.T. The Rampage will host their annual Cool School Day Game on Nov. 15, 2016. The annual event gives local schools the opportunity to provide students unique STAAR preparation activities in a hockey environ- ment. In a recent addition, the day will also include college and career readiness elements to give high schools the chance to participate as well, including a panel of SS&E Executives and college fair. POINT STREAK PLAYERS: San Antonio had several players acquire their first streaks of the season in the first four games of the 2016-17 campaign. They currently have four players tied for the longest scoring streak at two games.
These include Rampage rookies A.J. Greer and J.T. Compher, returner Rocco Grimaldi, and Turner Elson. Elson is the only player currently on an active streak, scoring his first assist and goal for the Silver and Black during Saturday and Sunday's matches respectively.
