The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Colin Stuart has been assigned to the team from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

Stuart has appeared in 17 games with the Wolves this season recording 2 assists for 2 points and 6 penalty minutes.

A rookie out of Colorado College, Stuart finished his final collegiate season ranked sixth with 22 points in 30 games. He totaled 77 points in 156 collegiate games.

Drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 5th round, #135 overall 2001 NHL entry draft, the Rochester, Minnesota native is currently under contract to the Thrashers.

Stuart will be available for the Gladiators for Friday's 7:35 p.m. contest against the South Carolina Stingrays at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

The Central Division Champion Gwinnett Gladiators continue their second season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Friday, January 14th as the Gladiators host the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:35 p.m. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties.
