
Stratford Appreciation Night This Saturday

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will hold "Stratford Appreciation Night" when they host the Saint John Flames this Saturday, February 8th at 7:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.
"Stratford Appreciation Night" activities will include:
â¢Discounted tickets, $12.50, available to Stratford residents who show proof of residency at the box office.
â¢"Young Guns" posters featuring Trent Hunter and Justin Mapletoft, courtesy of Success Printing, Inc., for the first five-thousand fans who enter the game. Hunter and Mapletoft will sign autographs after the game.
â¢A pregame ceremonial face-off featuring Stratford Town Council Chairman Robert Calzone.
â¢The national anthem being performed by members of the Stratford High School Chamber Singers and the Bunnell High School Studio Voices with the colors presented by Stratford Cub Scout Pack 172.

The Sound Tigers will return from the AHL All-Star break with a pair of home games this weekend hosting the Hartford Wolf Pack Friday at 7:35 p.m. and Saint John Saturday at 7:05 p.m. All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 also broadcasts road games.
