Stephens Stars as Canadians Win, 10-7

Bears Center Charlie Stephens scored two goals and assisted on another as the Canadian AHL All Stars beat Planet USA 10-7 at Portland, Maine. Utah Grizzlies center Jon Sim was named the game's most valuable player. Sim notched two goals and an assist, and also broke a 7-7 tie with 7:51 left in regulation. Bears netminder Phil Sauve started the game for Planet USA.

The game was attended by a standing room only crowd of 6,499. Stephens and Sauve return to Hershey in time for practice on Wednesday afternoon. The Bears are back in action on Friday night at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester. Face off against the Americans is slated for 7:35.
