
Storm Dropped Again By The Wranglers

(Las Vegas, NV) The Toledo Storm (23-19-1) dropped its second in a row as
they were defeated by Las Vegas (24-9-11) 5-3 tonight. You can see a
complete box score of tonight's game at Toledo vs. Las Vegas
Toledo struck first as just 1:56 into the opening period as Nick Parillo
scored his 8th goal of the year on the power play. Parillo tipped defenseman
Jason Maleyko's (Mike Walsh) shot past Las Vegas goaltender Kevin Nastiuk
(). Toledo would lead until Derek Edwardson (13) blasted a power play shot
past starting goaltender Dominic Vicari () to tie the game at one. The Wranglers would jump in front of Toledo 2-1 on an even strength goal
from Chris Neiszner. Toledo would tie the game again as PJ Martin struck on
the power play for his third goal of the year. Matt Zultek received a pass
from Evan McGrath and fired a feed to Martin in the left circle, in which PJ
roofed it for the goal. Tied at 2 heading to the third period when Las Vegas repeated what it did to
Toledo last Saturday night. Las Vegas out scored the Storm 3-1 in third.
Marco Peluso scored twice and Steve Crampton scored for Las Vegas. Matt
Zultek collected his team leading 15th goal of the season at 19:31 of the
third period. Toledo finished 2-6 on the power play; Las Vegas completed the game 2-6 on
the man advantage. Toledo is 7-3-0 when tied after 2 periods of play this
season. The Storm will hit Bakersfield Wednesday night at 10:05pm. The Storm return
to the One Main Street ice on February 16th against the Columbia Inferno.
