Guelph Storm News Release
The Storm take on the Barrie Colts Friday at the Sleeman Centre. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting the Guelph Storm Box Office at 519-837-9690.
Don't miss out on seeing new members of the Storm hit the ice. Former Spitfires captain Saverio Posa will suit up for the first time in a Storm uniform and recently acquired goaltender Michael Nishi will also be in the line-up .Storm prospect Mark Stevens will also make his Storm debut. Drafted in the 5th round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection, Stevens will wear #15 tomorrow night.
This will be the first time these two teams face off against each other this year. The only other contest is in Barrie on February 23rd. The Colts currently lead the Eastern Conference with a record of 26-12-0-1 and 53 points. They have a record of 6-4-0-0 in their last 10 games. The Storm have struggled a bit as of late losing four straight. With a record of 21-14-1-4 the Storm sit 5th in Western Conference with 47 points.
Town Hall Meeting this Friday
The Storm will host their 1st Town Hall meeting of the 2012-13 season inside Draught Picks following the game on Friday, January 11, 2013 against the Barrie Colts.
W ith the 2012-2013 trade deadline passing Thursday, January 10, this is a great opportunity for fans to ask and discuss all things "Storm" in an informal, relaxed setting.
