Colts Acquire Defencemen Jake Dotchin From Owen Sound Attack

Barrie, ON - The Barrie Colts have announced today that they have completed a trade with the Owen Sound Attack.
The Barrie Colts obtain defencemen Jake Dotchin from Owen Sound.
In exchange the Colts send the Owen Sound Attack Barrie's 3rd round pick in 2013, Oshawa's 3rd round pick in 2013, Sudbury's 5th round pick in 2014 and Barrie's 4th round pick in 2015.
Jake Dotchin was originally drafted in the 4th round, 70th overall by the Owen Sound Attack in 2010. The 6'3" 222lbs defencemen was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 6th round (161st overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Dotchin is from Glen Morris, ON and has 2 goals and 14 assists in 38 games this season. He is a steady two-way defencemen who will be a welcomed addition to the Barrie Colts line-up.
In 102 career OHL games Jake Dotchin has 5 goals and 28 assists for 33 points.
