
Storm Acquire Defenseman From Gwinnett

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they acquired defenseman Ryan Reid from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL in exchange for cash.
"Ryan is a tough physical defenseman who moves the puck," said Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Nick Vitucci. Ryan has played just 12 games in his professional career since he finished his college career at Lake Superior State. Reid has appeared in just one contest this season for the Gladiators collecting five minutes in penalties. He started his professional career in Atlantic City at the end of the 04-05 season by playing in 11 games with 2 goals and 1 assist. In his college career, Ryan collected 219 penalty minutes in four years.
Toledo hits the road on Friday when it travels to Wheeling. The Storm then
returns home against Victoria Saturday and Reading Sunday. Contact the Storm
