BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron fell to the Stockton Kings, 122-104, in the second game of a weekend back-to-back on Sunday night at Legacy Arena at the BJCC.
Birmingham (2-11) was led in scoring by Javonte Smart and Dereon Seabron, who each notched 22 points on the night. Zylan Cheatham was a rebound away from a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. All five Birmingham starters scored in double-figures.
Deonte Burton's 26 points paced Stockton (10-2), while Neemias Queta (23) and Trey Burke (20) each boasted 20-point performances.
The Kings led by as many as 27 in the contest, while Birmingham's largest advantage was a two-point lead (8-6) with eight minutes to play in the first quarter.
The Squadron hit the road to Canada for a Wednesday matchup with Raptors 905. Tip-off is scheduled for 10 a.m. CT from Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga, Ontario and the game can be seen locally on My68 WABM and nationally on NBAGLeague.com.
