
Clippers Split Back-To-Back With Austin

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Ontario Clippers (7-5), the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, defeat the Austin Spurs (3-7), 115-82, on Saturday night to split the back-to-back.
Nate Darling led Ontario with a game-high 29 points on 11-17 FGM (6-9 3PM) off the Ontario bench. Moses Brown added a double-double of 18 points (8-11 FGM) and 14 rebounds and Brandon Boston Jr. also contributed 18 points (6-15 FGM) on the night.
The Spurs were led by Alize Johnson, who recorded a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Dominick Barlow also recorded 18 points on the night to go along with five rebounds.
After an even opening quarter, the Clippers started to break away, riding a 17-6 run to take a double-digit lead into halftime. Ontario wouldn't stop there as they came out of the break red-hot, shooting 57.1 percent (20-35 FGM) to outscore Austin 59-36 in the second half to run away with the victory. The Clippers led by as much as 33 on the night.
Next up, the Clippers return home for a two-game set against the Salt Lake City Stars beginning on Monday, January 23. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm PST inside the Toyota Arena.
