North Charleston, SC - Michael Dubuc scored his team leading 30th goal of the year in overtime to beat the Mississippi Sea Wolves 3-2 at the North Charleston Coliseum.

"I like the way we played tonight," said Head Coach Jared Bednar. "We got a little tired down the stretch, especially since we only have four true defensemen playing right now."

The Rays took the lead in the first period on their third short handed goal in two games, the second by Keith Johnson. Johnson scored his 13th goal of the season from Travis Morin to give the Rays the 1-0 lead at 11:25 of the period. In the final minute of play, Josh Godfrey fired a missile from the blue line on the power play past Ryan Munce to make it 2-0. The goal was Godfrey's second of the year and was assisted by Pierre-Luc O'Brien and Trent Campbell.

The Sea Wolves climbed back into the game scoring single goals in the second period and third period to tie the game up at two. Jason Tejchma got his 15th of the year in the second period to cut the lead in half, while Jeremy Hall got his sixth of the year in the third period to tie the game up at two and send it into overtime.

At 3:42 of the extra period, Bill LeClerc got called for hooking and put the Rays on their sixth power play of the night. Only :17 seconds later, Dubuc fired a shot from the top of the slot to give the Rays the 3-2 win.

The winning goaltender was Jonathan Boutin who stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced. The losing goaltender was Munce who stopped 40 of the 43 shots he faced. The Rays went 2-6 on the power play while killing off all six short handed situations they faced.

The Rays will be back in action on Wednesday Night as they begin their Northern swing by taking on the Dayton Bombers at the Nutter Center at 7:35 P.M. You can hear the game live on ESPN Radio 910 the TEAM starting with the Benitos Pre-game show beginning at 7:20.
