
Game Preview: Ontario Reign at Stockton Thunder

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP
Tonight's game is the eighth time the Ontario Reign and the Stockton Thunder will face-off in the 2008-2009 season. The Reign hold a 4-2-1-0 record against Stockton, with the Thunder picking up the win, 5-1, in the last match on February 6 in Ontario, CA. Right wing Geoff Walker leads the Reign in points against the Thunder with 8 (3g, 5a). Center Ryan Huddy leads the Thunder in points against the Reign with 6 (2g, 4a). The teams are scheduled to meet for two more games this season, with one at Stockton Arena and one at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Ontario currently ranks second in the Pacific Division standings, posting an overall record of 26-19-3-1 (56 points), one point behind the Las Vegas Wranglers (57 points) for first. The Reign is 14-9-2-0 in home games and 12-10-1-1 on the road. Stockton ranks third place in the Pacific Division standings, posting an overall record of 24-22-3-2 (53 points).

The Reign is back on home ice Wednesday, February 18 to face-off against the West Division-leading Victoria Salmon Kings and Friday, February 20 to take on the Phoenix RoadRunners. Puck drop for both games is at 7:00 p.m.
