The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Brennan Turner has been reassigned to Gwinnett from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

He skated with Rockford in two games on Janaury 20th and 24th during his first AHL appearance this year. He posted an assist and recorded a -1 rating in his two games this season with Rockford.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has played in 44 ECHL games this season, 29 with the Fresno Falcons and 15 with the Gladiators. With Fresno, Turner tallied two goals and two assists while he has added six helpers since the defenseman joined the Gladiators.

The Gladiators continue the 2008-09 season on Sunday, February 15th as they host the Charlotte Checkers at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 4:05 p.m.
