The Stingrays swept Florida in a two game series on their last visit to Estero. The Everblades won the only meeting between the two teams in North Charleston, 3-1 on December third. Florida sits in first place in the South Division with a record of 18-12-1. Matt Hendricks leads the Everblades in scoring with 31 points on 15 goals and 16 assists.
At the Coliseum: Family Fun Friday, 44$ for four tickets, four hot dogs, four cokes and popcorn.

The Stingrays have enjoyed a record of 3-1-1 against the Pee Dee Pride this season. Pee Dee won the last meeting, 2-1 in overtime. The Pride sits in first place in the East Division with a mark of 17-10-2. The Pride topped the Inferno, 7-0 their last time out. Head Coach Jason Fitzsimmons returns from a six game suspension.
At the Coliseum: Fitzsimmons Springs Water Bottle Night! The first 3,000 fans making a donation t to the Trident Area Boys and Girls Club will receive a collector's edition bottle of Fitzsimmons Springs Drinking Water, courtesy of Appalachian Springs.

Tuesday, December 28, 2004 Stingrays 2 @ Charlotte3 SO
The Checkers tied the game with nine seconds remaining in the third period and won in an eight round shoot out. Kirk Daubenspeck made 31 saves for the Stingrays but could not get the win. Joe Tenute scored both goals for the Stingrays in the loss.
Thursday, December 30, 2004 Stingrays 1 @ Augusta3
Maxime Daigneault took the loss between the pipes for the Stingrays as the team stretched its winless streak to four games. Joe Tenute scored his third goal in two games in a losing cause for the Rays.
Saturday, January 1, 2005 Stingrays 5 @ Greenville7
The Rays power play was impressive in the loss scoring four goals, but the Grrrowl dominated five on five in the win. The Rays finished a four game road trip at 0-2-2. Joe Tenute had three assists in the loss for the Stingrays.
The Team:
The Stingrays finished the week 0-2-1 and are now winless in their last five games, 0-3-2. South Carolina sits in fifth place in the East Division with a record of 12-14-3 and 27 points. The Rays have the tenth spot in the conference. At home, the Stingrays have a record of 7-4-1, but they are 5-10-2 away from the North Charleston Coliseum. The Rays special teams continue to improved including the impressive penalty kill, which ranks first in the league at 90.2% with six short handed goals. The Rays power play is in the top ten in the league now, ranked ninth at 16.5%.
The Players:
Joe Tenute had a big week for the Stingrays despite the team's three losses, scoring three goals and adding three assists in three games. Tenute was the only goal scorer for the Stingrays in two consecutive games. The rookie now has 29 points on 14 goals and 15 assists on the season and ranks fourth on the rookie scoring list. Matt Reid continues to lead the Stingrays in scoring on the season with 30 points on 15 goals and 15 assists.
Rays Fans Help Charity
The South Carolina Stingrays and the Boys and Girls Club of the Trident Area have teamed up to raise money on Saturday night, when the Stingrays host the Pee Dee Pride. The first 3,000 fans making any sort of donation to the Boys and Girls Club will receive a collector's addition bottle of "Fitzsimmons Springs Drinking Water". The water bottles are symbolic of the Coach's six game suspension by the ECHL and Saturdays is Fitzsimmons's first game back.
Stingray's fans have already begun to pitch in for the cause. Fans at "Monday Night Hockey" at Bobby Hartin's have already pitched in over $500 in two weeks since Fitzsimmons' suspension.
