Idaho Steelheads News Release
The Idaho Steelheads are tied for fifth spot in a tight National Conference, West Division after losing its last five games. In contrast, the Steelheads' next opponent, the Long Beach Ice Dogs have moved into first place in the division after winning its last six. Idaho will have a good opportunity to gain ground on the Ice Dogs during a three-game home stand beginning Wednesday night at the Bank of America Centre.
· This season Idaho is 1-1-1 against Long Beach;
· 8-1-4 since joining the ECHL last season;
· and 29-6-6 all time.

OF NOTE:
Idaho is experiencing goaltending woes as Frank Doyle was recalled to the AHL's Utah Grizzlies (12/31/04) and Colin Zulianello has been unable to play due to illness. The team had to sign former goaltender and assistant coach Blair Allison to start in two games against the Peoria Rivermen this past New Year's weekend.
PRACTICE SCHDULE:
The team will practice every day this week at the Bank of America Centre from 10:00 â 11:00 a.m. Practices are free and open to the public.
UP NEXT:
Idaho hosts the streaking first place Long Beach Ice Dogs at the Bank of America Centre for a three-game series, January 5th, 7th and 9th. Long Beach has moved into first place in the division, winning its last six games and posting a 9-0-1 record in its last 10 games.
