
Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Welcome the Toledo Walleye on 2x2 Tuesday Tonight

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 22 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry, take on the Toledo Walleye tonight on 2x2 Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the first of four meetings between the two teams this season.

Series Breakdown:
The Stingrays battle the Walleye for the first of four meetings tonight with three of the contests taking place at the North Charleston Coliseum. Last season, the Stingrays went 4-0-0-0 against the Walleye and hold a 19-1-0 all-time record against their North Division rivals.
Facing the North:
Tonight marks the second of 15 games this season the Stingrays face a North Division opponent with Toledo being the most common (four games). The Stingrays met the Wheeling Nailers for the first of three meetings on October 25, resulting in a 5-1 loss. The Cincinnati Cyclones (3 games), Evansville IceMen (3 games) and Indianapolis Fuel (3 games) also collide with the Stingrays this season.
Streak Snapped:
The Stingrays snapped a four-game winless streak (0-2-0-2) on Saturday defeating the Greenville Road Warriors 4-2 at the Coliseum.
Picking up Points:
Forwards Caleb Herbert (three goals), Cody Sylvester (one goal, two assists) Andrew Rowe and Joe Devin (two assists each) registered multi-point games Saturday against Greenville.
Stingrays Participate in Movember:
As the calendar rolls into November, the Stingrays will participate in the men's health campaign, Movember. Movember is the annual charity event that engages men to grow, and women to support, a moustache for the 30 days of November to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues including prostate and testicular cancer and mental health. Supporters, called Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, get friends, family and colleagues to donate to their efforts along the way.
