Maxime Clermont Returns to Orlando

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, announced today that G Maxime Clermont has been assigned to the team by the New Jersey Devils from the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League. Clermont was a sixth round selection of the New Jersey Devils at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Clermont (6-0, 201 lbs.) played 10 regular season games for the Solar Bears last season, going 5-3-1 with one shutout, a 3.35 GAA, and .891 save percentage. He also appeared in three playoff contests, finishing with a 2.03 GAA and .926 save percentage while earning a 25 save shutout in game four against the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Last season, the Montreal, QC, native appeared in two games for Albany posting a 2.00 GAA and .923 save percentage and went 6-9-1 with a 3.35 GAA and .892 save percentage in 17 games with the Elmira Jackals. Clermont played 41 games for the Jackals in 2012-13, collecting a 20-13-5 record along with a .899 save percentage and 3.24 GAA. In his professional career, Clermont has played 104 games with a 3.24 GAA, .897 save percentage, and 45-37-11 overall record.
