Thunder Add Spacek and Rai to Roster

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers has added former Thunder defenseman Michal Spacek and forward Prab Rai to the roster.

Spacek, 22, suited up in 33 games for the Thunder last season registering 2 goals and 3 assists and was +1 in his first season as a pro. The Marianske Lazne, Czech Republic native began his junior career his home country before playing three seasons of junior hockey in North America.

Rai, 24, is a former Seattle Thunderbird standout, scoring 218 points in 238 games for the WHL side. The former 5th round selection of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks has played 31 games in the ECHL for the Kalamazoo Wings.
