
Stingrays Announce Forward Spencer Carbery As 2009-10 Fans Choice Bobble Head

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that Stingrays forward Spencer Carbery has been named 2009-2010 Fans Choice Bobble head.
Over the past week, over 16,000 voters from around the world went online to Stingrayshockey.com and voted for who they would like to see as the next Stingrays bobble head. Carbery led the way and received over 8,000 votes. Click here to listen to Spencer's reaction on being named the 2009-10 Fans Choice bobble head.
Fans can pre-order their bobble heads on stingrayshockey.com or by clicking here. Pre-orders are being accepted from now until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18. The bobble heads are $12.00 with optional shipping and handling within the United States.
Carbery, 28, currently has six goals and seven assist for 13 points in 23 games this season for the Stingrays. The Victoria, BC native leads the team in penalty minutes with 62 and is second with a plus-minus rating of five.
The Stingrays continue their home stand Friday, December 11, against the Trenton Devils at 7:05 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Friday is $2 Beer Night and 100.9 WAY FM Family Fun Friday.
