Cyclones Place Adam Henrich On ECHL's Suspended List
December 7, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have placed forward Adam Henrich on the ECHL's Suspended List. This move allows the Cyclones to maintain Henrich's professional playing rights in North America.
Henrich, 25, has had two separate stints with Springfield (AHL) this season. He was acquired by the Cyclones in a trade for defenseman Jon Landry on November 3 and was injured in his first game in Cincinnati. After missing twelve games due to the injury, Adam returned for the December 2 contest against Kalamazoo and was recalled by Springfield immediately after the game. He left the Falcons after the game Friday night (December 4) and has returned home to Toronto.
The Cyclones return to action on Saturday night (December 12) with a 7:30pm clash against East Division leader Reading. It is 'Wildman Wobler Night' with the first 2000 fans receiving a look-a-like wobler of the team's public address announcer. Sunday afternoon (December 13) it is a 2:30pm clash again with Reading on 'Kids Club Day', where members of the Cyclones Kids Club receive tickets to the game and a special postgame skate session with the players. Both games can be heard on the internet at: www.cycloneshockey.com.
Tickets for the 2009-10 Cincinnati Cyclones season are now on sale. The Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 3. The Cyclones have selected Friday night games carried on 1530 Homer - The Sports Animal and all contests aired on their website at www.cycloneshockey.com.
